2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book?
Answer: DIRTY DEVIL is book two in the VENGEFUL VILLAINS Dark Mafia series. It’s a Russian Bratva, Age Gap, Hate to Love Kidnapping Romance complete with a HEA and no cheating.
3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place?
The series is set in Miami, Florida because the last time I was down there, I saw a guy who looked exactly like the hero I’d pictured in my first book, and boom! It was meant to be. Right place, right time.
4–Would you hang out with your heroine in real life?
Hell, yes. She’s a total snarky badass who fights hard and loves harder.
5–What are three words that describe your hero?
Deviant, sexy, and daaaaaaark
6–What’s something you learned while writing this book?
I learned a lot about car restorations and fabrication shops since it’s my hero’s big business.
7–Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
I edit as I go.
8–What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?
PIZZA
9–Describe your writing space/office!
I just had it redone about a year ago, and I love it! The walls are painted a light gray, the furniture is white. I have a gold sunburst mirror hanging over the couch and a crystal lamp on the end table. It’s soothing and peaceful and quiet – a perfect place to feed the inspiration for my stories.
10–Who is an author you admire?
James Patterson. He is one of my favorite authors, and I would love so much to collaborate with him on a suspense thriller.
11–Is there a book that changed your life?
Gone with the Wind. It is one of my favorite books and such an epic saga with a rich and descriptive plot and multi-dimensional characters who drew me in from the first page and held on to me until I read their final words. That final scene has stayed with me since the day I read it. I’d love to hear that my books have that kind of lasting impact on readers. It would be the best compliment ever!
12–Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)
I self-published my first book so I can tell you how it felt once I first saw it on Amazon. It was AMAZING!!! I couldn’t have been prouder to accomplish my goal of becoming a published author!
13–What’s your favorite genre to read?
Psychological thrillers
14–What’s your favorite movie?
Soooo many to choose from! But I’ll go with Notting Hill because I just watched it the other night.
15–What is your favorite season?
Summer
16–How do you like to celebrate your birthday?
With vodka.
17–What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?
I literally just finished Dahmer on Netflix and found it both horrifying and fascinating. It is twisted and disturbing as hell, but I couldn’t stop watching it.
18–What’s your favorite type of cuisine?
Italian
19–What do you do when you have free time?
I spend time with my family and friends and kickbox!
