Would you read a book where a woman downloads an AI boyfriend app to confess her fantasies to without knowing that her new hot coworker secretly hacked her phone and is the one she’s really talking to?
How did you decide where your book was going to take place?
I grew up near NYC!
Would you hang out with your heroine in real life?
She’s really based on me so, yes!
What are three words that describe your hero?
Broody, possessive, obsessive.
What’s something you learned while writing this book?
This book was an exploration of my own insecurities about my body. It was definitely a long-winded way of trying to learn to accept myself!
Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
A bit of both!
What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?
It’s fall so pumpkin spice lattes!

Is there a book that changed your life?
Honestly, yes! Love Me Stalk Me! Because it means that I get to do this full time which is such a dream come true!
Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published). Or, for indie authors, when you decided to self-publish.
It all happened in such a whirlwind! I had just done my cover reveal for Love Me Stalk Me, fully expecting to publish it independently—and then everything changed. There was immediate interest in the book, and I was incredibly fortunate to connect with Kimberly Whalen at The Whalen Agency. She truly made my dream come true. Before I knew it, we were signing with Atria, and I couldn’t be more grateful or more excited for what’s ahead!

We don’t celebrate past 29 folks.
What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?
I know this is really out there, but I recently discovered this show called Mr. In-Between which is an Aussie dark comedic drama about a hitman who is also trying to live a normal life, and I have no idea why, but I was completely obsessed with it and binged it so fast!
What’s your favorite type of cuisine?
Right now, I’m fixated on Indian food!
What do you do when you have free time?
What’s free time? That’s just time to write more!

Hopefully a lot more books that blend romance with a touch of dark and a heap of funny!
