In A LADY’S ESCAPE, Millie’s first assignment with the Everton Domestic Society is to find the Duke of Middleton a wife, but when she succeeds it will break both of their hearts.
If you could meet one of your characters in real life, who would you choose and what would you do?
Markus from A LADY’S HONOR. It took me many years to gain enough courage to write about losing a spouse. I’d like to sit and talk and maybe apologize for hurting him so.
What gets your creative juices flowing when you’re brainstorming a new story?
The best is when some writer friends get together and start tossing ideas back and forth. One can lead to the next and then the magic happens.
Which part of Readers & ‘ritas are you most excited about?
Having lunch with the readers. I’ve never done that before, and I can’t wait to have more than a few seconds at a signing to get to know them and for them to get to know me.
We’re all romantics here, so we need to know—what is your all-time favorite love story?
The movie French Kiss. It’s a RomCom, but I just love it and have watched it hundreds of times. I can recite it, and it’s probably best if I watch it alone since I will say my favorite lines before the characters do. It can be very annoying to others. LOL
