If you could meet one of your characters in real life, who would you choose and what would you do?
If I had to choose only one, I think I’d meet Jordan Levi, from my upcoming Reapers Strike Force series. He’s patient, easy-going, and loves to laugh. He’s also sneaky, violent, and adventurous. I’d actually like to go parasailing with him because it would definitely be an unforgettable experience. Then after, we’d hang out at the bar and he’d dazzle me with his charm while we drank a beer together.
What gets your creative juices flowing when you’re brainstorming a new story?
New characters. They always start as a small little nag in the back of my mind and usually in about a day or two, they’re all I can think about until I can get them out on paper. I literally cannot think of anything else until I get them sorted out.
Which part of Readers & ‘ritas are you most excited about?
My favorite part of RNR is always the people. Some I only see when I go, so I really miss them during the year and it’s like coming home to old friends every time I see them. It helps that we all have common interests, and I always leave with a notebook full of book recommendations.
We’re all romantics here, so we need to know—what is your all-time favorite love story?
The Hidden Legacy trilogy from Ilona Andrews. Alpha hero, strong heroine, super action-heavy with a beautiful romance all tied up in a magical bow.
