1–What is the title of your latest release?

My Legacy – releases March 22.

2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book?

Have you ever been in a stalemate with the head of the mob? Me neither, until Sebastian Romano walked into my life. This enemies-to-lovers mafia romance will keep you on the edge until the very end, when Sebastian gets more than he bargains for.

3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place?

The book is set in New York, and I have always wanted to set a book in New York city, a mafia romance seemed fitting for the location.

4–Would you hang out with your heroine in real life?

Absolutely! Maddison runs an art gallery and is a smart, savvy businesswoman. I think we would have lots in common and have a great time together.

5–What are three words that describe your hero?

Dangerous, Demanding and Delicious.

6–What’s something you learned while writing this book?

That Sicily is now on my travel bucket list. The blue waters are calling my name.

7–Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?

I certainly tweak things as I go, but no I don’t do an edit as such. I try and get all the words out and then run through it after the first draft is complete. I usually run through it two or three times before I hand it over to my editor. Once editing is done I usually then use text to voice to listen to the book again to pick up any last minute tweaks before I publish.

8–What’s your favorite foodie indulgence?

Ben and Jerry’s Netflix and Chill’d Ice-Cream.

9–Describe your writing space/office!

Up until recently it was a laptop computer on a trestle table in my spare room. But living in Melbourne we had lockdown for over 250 days where the “office” was used a lot, so a small renovation was made and now I have the most perfect office space with a proper desk and everything!

10–Who is an author you admire?

So many. I am part of the TL Swan Cygnet Group which is a group of new authors that TL Swan mentors, and she is fantastic and provides so much insight into not only writing but also the world of being an author. I am also part of Melanie Harlow’s Harlot’s Group, where she imparts her wisdom and mentors authors along their journey.

11–Is there a book that changed your life?

I started reading Danielle Steel when I was just a teen and fell in love with the romance genre back then. Over time life took over and it wasn’t until 2020 that I began reading again and found Meghan March, who I love, and I devoured her entire backlist which kick started my new obsession with romance books. I then started putting pen to paper (or fingers onto the keyboard) and wrote my own book, fell in love with the process and haven’t stopped.

12–Tell us about when you got “the call.” (when you found out your book was going to be published)

Answer: I am a self-published author, and it is certainly daunting releasing a book onto the market. You don’t know if you are any good, not sure if people will buy it or like it. But finally finishing the manuscript and pulling it all together with a cover and full editing and then pressing publish it is certainly a milestone I will never forget.

13–What’s your favorite genre to read?

Romance. Contemporary, Paranormal, Rom-Com, Dark, small town. You name it, I read it. BUT – I can’t read and write, so I don’t read that many books now because I release four of my own books a year and therefore it doesn’t leave much time for reading anymore. My TBR list is out of control though.

14–What’s your favorite movie?

Footloose. I love when the good girl falls for the bad guy and that tractor scene is everything! Plus, the song makes me want to dance and puts everyone in a great mood. It was also the first movie I ever saw in cinema, my dad said that I danced out of the cinema and kept dancing all the way home.

15–What is your favorite season?

Summer. I am a beach girl, and I will chase the sun. I often leave the cold winter of Melbourne and head north to Hamilton Island near the great barrier reef which is one of my regular holiday spots.

16–How do you like to celebrate your birthday?

I love flowers, champagne and not having to cook- if I get all three it is a great day!

17–What’s a recent tv show/movie/book/podcast you highly recommend?

I am obsessed with Yellowstone. I binge watched all four seasons and now need to wait for season five to be released. I am currently trying to work out how to move to Montana and live in the Dutton Ranch….

18–What’s your favorite type of cuisine?

It is a tie between Japanese and Mexican.

19–What do you do when you have free time?

To be honest I don’t have a lot of free time, but I do like to indulge in facials and a regular trip to the spa is never a bad idea.

20–What can readers expect from you next?

My Legacy releases March 22^nd but if you can’t wait until then I have also just released a short spicy story called Loving the Billionaire which is currently free.
