1–What is the title of your latest release? VILLAINS BY NECESSITY 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? An obsession fueled group of magi are coming for her client speaking words of love. Good thing she’s bad at listening. 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? Villains is the second book in a series. I actually wrote book 1 and 3 before I wrote Villains, which fits between them. So it was mostly to do with the “missing untold story”. 4–Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life? Maybe, if she’d sit still for long enough and wasn’t covered in blood. 5–What are three words that describe your protagonist? Headstrong, tough, and vulnerable. 6–What’s something you learned while writing this book? To really home in on where the action starts and stops during fight scenes. This book is high action, and sometimes the conflict rolls into more conflict. Keeping that pace up is exhausting to read, though, so I needed to identify the core elements of the conflict, so it was digestible. 7–Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
