1–What is the title of your latest release? YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? If you like the early seasons of You, you’ll love You Look Beautiful Tonight. 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? I recently visited Nashville, TN, and it was gorgeous and full of a culture unlike most you see these days. It was an incredibly fun visit, and I thought that vibe would balance well with my main character’s personality. 4–Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life? Probably! She’s meek and keeps to herself, so I think a better question is if she would hang out with me! But I think Mia, once you really get to know her, is a good friend. 5–What are three words that describe your protagonist? Quiet, introvert, reticent. 6–What’s something you learned while writing this book? This book is a reminder to us all to love ourselves and find confidence in our uniqueness rather than weakness. 7–Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done? Both.
