I live in Vermont, one of this country’s most beautiful and bounteous states. Given that the fictional character whom Kate is writing about is a Vermont cheesemaker, I had no choice but to set my thriller here! 4–Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life? Absolutely. Kate is so multi-faceted. Plus, her life is aswirl with drama. I would love to witness the thrilling trajectories her life takes.
