1–What is the title of your latest release? OF GOLD AND SHADOWS 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? An attractive female Egyptologist and a sought-after handsome bachelor are brought together beneath one roof while threatened by the ancient curse of Amentuk. 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? As an aspiring Egyptologist, my heroine needed to be rooted in an institution of higher learning in England—mostly because I’m an Anglophile at heart. Oxford is one of my favorite towns to visit, hence the setting. 4–Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life? Absolutely. She’s a spitfire and always up for adventure…as am I. 5–What are three words that describe your protagonist? Feisty. Creative. Begrudgingly humble. 6–What’s something you learned while writing this book? I knew Victorians were crazy about Egypt back in the day, but I didn’t realize just how much until I came across an interesting tidbit. Apparently, it was all the rage—if you had money, of course—to invite friends over for a mummy unwrapping party. Yep. You’d simply purchase a mummy, have the cook whip up a dinner for after the unveiling festivities, and have at it. 7–Do you…
