ANSWER: Lady Mercy Ainsworth from THE DEVIL OF DRURY LANE. As the daughter of an earl, Mercy hides her artistic gifts behind a gentile societal facade. In secret, she is a portraitist and illustrator. Her most recent commission is posters for a Drury Lane production. Her childhood crush, Damien DeWitt, sees it in a shop window and realizes this is the girl he used to know. He still carries a sketch she drew of him in his pocket.
