About several African American women who were mathematicians for NASA, something I never knew about, and I enjoyed reading the progress that was made for women and women of colour over the years.

Recent history, a little bit of magic (or is it?), science, coincidence, family drama… these are just a few of the things that are tackled in this book, and it was the most unique book I read in 2018, as well as one of the first I read this year. It’s a book that I think about often, and one that I may not recommend a ton, but when I do, it’s emphatically!
