1–What is the title of your latest release? LAST GIRL BREATHING 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? When a dam break is called into question, a murderer hunts for new victims. 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? I built a smashed up setting from my childhood hometown. It’s a fictional location that I return to often in my creative process. 4–Would you hang out with your protagonist in real life? Absolutely. 5–What are three words that describe your protagonist? Gumption. Steel. Tender. 6–What’s something you learned while writing this book? No matter how much I plot, I will ultimately change the story design to fit the character who ends up on the page, rather than forcing the character who emerges to fit the story design I began with. 7–Do you edit as you draft or wait until you are totally done?
