It’s all things historical romance today! Check out our picks below.
It was unusual to see Alexandria as a location for a WW2 romance. Contrasted with Scotland which has an influx of GIs. Women greatly involved in business, nursing and war work.
Historical [Allison and Busby, On Sale: June 19, 2018, Trade Size / e-Book, ISBN: 9780749022990 / eISBN: 9780749023003]
Grace Burrowes is my go-to historical romance author. She writes characters who feel like old friends, and their extended families (both biological and found) are there to both tease the main characters or defend them against enemies. The heroes and heroines are fully realized individuals, and when they finally get together, it’s wonderful!
Romance Historical [Forever, On Sale: November 6, 2018, Paperback / e-Book, ISBN: 9781538728956 / ]
Favorite characters in a fabulous series, a character-driven story, and a charming and very sweet hero! Also, there are great supporting characters, too.
Romance and Historical fact-filled delight in Paris! Oh-la-la! Amanda McCabe is a sterling storyteller and her historical research impeccable.
A true love story, what could be more romantic than that? Most people have heard of C.S. Lewis, but I bet not everyone knows about how he found the perfect woman with whom to share his life.
