If you enjoy adventures paranormal books with humor than this book is a must read!
I hated to see two of my favorite series end but Simon R. Green ended them in style. It was hard to say goodbye to these characters and some of the deaths were just as shocking to me as some in the Harry Potter series.
I loved how frightening and plausible the story was; it felt like something like this could really happen.
Women’s Fiction [Berkley, On Sale: August 21, 2018, Hardcover / e-Book, ISBN: 9780440000785 / eISBN: 9780440000822]
This is a well written and engaging military SF tale, with echoes of The Forever War. I like that people are respected and not treated as cannon fodder. The mechanics of colonising distant cold moons are well thought out while we also see danger closer to home as aliens have burrowed in on Mars. This makes it feel a lot more immediate.
