Being an author of fiction, I suppose some people might find it hard to believe what I tell them at times. After all, I get paid to make things up. But in the online news today, I found an interesting post that was first reported by the BBC, that reminded me YOU CAN’T MAKE UP STUFF BETTER THAN REAL LIFE.

A Somali man who claims to be 112 years old just got married. Now that’s a man who is optimistic about his future, but get this. He married a 17-year old girl-and he hopes to have more kids by her. The bride wouldn’t comment-no kidding (snort)-but her family told the press that she was “happy with her new husband” even though he is nearly a century older than she is.
