Here we go with THE WEDDING RANCH TITLE CHALLENGE:

T is for Timing, the most important thing for these two wounded hearts. Lorri and Ryder’s paths connect at the county fair in Dalton Mill.

H is for Heartwarming. A heartwarming story of love, family, and forgiveness.

E is for Ex-husband. A rotten ex who has the nerve to get remarried at the fancy wedding venue in the town Lorri moved to after their divorce. Yes, really!

W is for Weddings at The Wedding Ranch—a beautiful venue built by Ryder’s twin niece and nephew on a small corner of his ranch where a few old barns and tobacco buildings find a new purpose.

E is for Emotional Scars and a push and pull of emotions. Reshaping life after divorce, Lorri finds obstacles and choices at every turn. Ryder still carries heartbreaking grief. Even after seven years, his heart can’t see past the tragic loss of his wife and son. A story of healing those emotional scars. They never go away, but with the right care, they sure can change.

D is for Dog. A giant mastiff named Mister sort of steals the show.

D is for the Drunk Driver who took the lives of Ryder’s wife and young son, devastating those left behind.

I is for Integrity. A strong moral compass, honesty, and empathy drive these two.

N is for Never Say Never because even when you think you can never get past the grief, hurt, or unexpected shifts, life has a way of changing your course and proving you wrong.

G is for Gemstones found around Dalton Mill. A passion Ryder has had since he was a child and still enjoys. Finding a rock that looks rough and worthless, Ryder patiently shines and shapes them into something special and forever beautiful.

R is for Romantic Ranch Life. From the horses pulling the wagon, Ryder at the reins wearing his cowboy hat with the newlyweds onboard, or while riding fences like his grandfather once did. Ryder carries on ranch life traditions.

A is for Artist. Lorri is a graphic artist, and Ryder has his own artistic side where he meshes his love for local gemstones and feathers found around the ranch.

N is for Nature. From the rural town of Dalton Mill to the beauty of Ryder’s family farm, and the horses that dot the acreage, nature is prominent throughout this story. Butterflies dance along the landscape and feathers drift to the ground to be found and favored for those fortunate enough to find them.

C is for the County Fair where our hero and heroine first meet in a cotton candy sweet scene and a first step in healing deep wounds.

H is for Healing. Acceptance and forgiveness are key in healing the wounded hearts of Lorri and Ryder, and the family holds it all together.

THE WEDDING RANCH by Nancy Naigle

The Wedding Ranch

A Novel

A second chance at love awaits two brokenhearted people if they’re just willing to trust each other—and themselves, in USA Today bestselling author Nancy Naigle’s The Wedding Ranch.

When Lorri Walker’s husband gifted her with a mastiff puppy on Valentine’s Day, she believed he was recommitting himself to their marriage after going astray. Six months later, he left both her and their dog for someone else. Since her recent move to Dalton Mill to unbraid herself from the past, Lorri’s graphic design business is now flourishing, her growing mastiff, Mister, has plenty of space to romp, and her ex in Raleigh can fade to a distant memory.

Ryder Bolt is haunted by the tragic loss of his wife and young son seven years ago. Thankfully, ranching keeps Ryder busy, and spending time with his niece and nephew—whose venue, The Wedding Ranch, has become a popular tourist destination—keeps him from getting lonely.

When Lorri and Ryder met, love was the last thing they were looking for. When they’re together, smiles come easier and burdens feel lighter, and both are embracing the possibility of something deeper.

But when a long-buried revelation surfaces, the fate that brought them together threatens to tear them apart.
