Nancy Naigle | A Woman Rediscovers Her Courage, Self, and a Reason to Risk Love Again
Author Guest / June 30, 2023

1–What is the title of your latest release? AND THEN THERE WAS YOU   2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? Natalie Maynard has fallen prey to a Romeo con and is now seeking refuge in the only thing she still owns, her late husband’s old hunting cabin up in the mountains of Chestnut Ridge. With the help of the town and determination of Detective Randy Fellowes, she rediscovers her courage, self, and a reason to risk love again.   3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? You know I’m a beach girl. Born and raised in Virginia Beach and spending downtime in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I’ve spent most of my life along the coast. A couple of years ago, I bought a horse farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Being a native of Virginia, I was shocked by how much I didn’t know about this region. The terrain is breathtaking, and I’ve fallen in love with this part of the state and all its lore. This book kicks off a new series for me, set in the fictional town of Chestnut Ridge where you might find fairy stones and see…

Nancy Naigle | Exclusive Excerpt: THE SHELL COLLECTOR
Author Guest / May 7, 2021

Maybe it was the low cloud cover this morning, but the ocean sounded so much louder today. She had a feeling it would be a brief stay the way the wind was whipping. The kids ran in circles at the shoreline, letting Denali chase them until he needed a break and ran to lie by her feet. She got up and met them at the water with their pails. “Y’all ready to find some shells?” They began scouring the sand. She knelt down and picked up a handful of tiny vibrant-colored shells. Most of them were broken, but a purple one caught her eye. She tucked it inside her pocket while the children quickly filled their pails with shells at every step until their buckets got heavy. When she looked up, she noticed they’d walked farther down the beach than they’d ever gone before. “Let’s head back,” Amanda said. Denali lay down in the sand. “We can’t leave him,” Hailey whined. “He’ll catch up.” At least she hoped so. There was no way she’d be able to carry him. “Do you want to stop and go through your shells? Lighten the load by getting rid of a few?” Jesse lugged…

Author Guest / December 20, 2019

1) What’s the name of your latest release? Christmas Angels. 2) What is it about? Growing up, Liz Westmoreland dreamed of taking over her grandparents inn located in the small mountain town of Angels Creek only for it to be sold before she ever got the chance. While browsing the internet, she stumbles upon a listing for what looks to be the picturesque inn and it’s set to go to auction. Liz places a bid, and by a miracle, wins the auction.
