Sarah M. Anderson | 20 Questions: THE LAST FRIEND YOU’LL EVER HAVE
Author Guest / October 13, 2022

1–What is the title of your latest release? THE LAST FRIEND YOU’LL EVER HAVE 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? If you could kill people just by touching them, you’d use that power for good, right? Mostly good, anyway? 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? Answer: Write what you know! The book opens in St. Louis, near where I grew up, and then spends part of the time in Denver, where I had friends live for a while. Even the gas station where Highway 70 just…ends in Utah is modeled on a real place I’ve been (and yes, it’s really weird when a major highway you’ve been on for a thousand miles comes to a T!). Might have thrown my town into the mix, just because I could, but won’t say which one! 4–Would you hang out with your heroine in real life? That’s a really tough thing to answer because, for the most part, my heroine is too deadly to just casually ‘hang out with.’ She will kill you, even if she’s not trying to! But by the end…I mean, she does really like ice cream and her dogs. I think…

This is Book 6 in the Holiday Knights Series, where each book focuses on a holiday and its origins back in medieval times.   About: Elizabeth lives in the suburbs of Chicago but is a country girl at heart. Author Guest / October 6, 2022

1–What is the title of your latest release? CAGED FURY, book two of the Goldenlach Ridge Shifters trilogy. 2–What’s the “elevator pitch” for your new book? When a tenacious bobcat shifter is captured and caged to be sold off as sport for hunters, she must put her trust in the person she got captured along with her in order for them to escape—or die trying. 3–How did you decide where your book was going to take place? This book is set in Alaska, an entirely different location than book one in the series, but still northern. I needed a remote location for the antagonists to be able to conduct their experiments in relative seclusion, and an abandoned wildlife rescue ended up being a perfect choice. 4–Would you hang out with your heroine in real life? Absolutely! She would be fantastic to go camping with. She’s level-headed, outdoorsy, and has a great sense of humor. 5–What are three words that describe your hero? Survivor, sexy, and deadly 6–What’s something you learned while writing this book? I learned a lot about Alaska and how it’s both similar and dissimilar to my home province of Saskatchewan, where book one in the series is…

Now, she needs to find a killer and learn to use her new wings while figuring out this whole fated mates thing. My title challenge was a fun one. I hope it gives you an idea of what you can expect from the book and the series.   H is for hot shifters, because rawr! Chase is a handsome shifter with alpha bloodlines O is for opposites attract. N.J. Walters | Exclusive Excerpt: ANCIENT DESIRE
Excerpt / September 8, 2022

Ancient Desire Forgotten Brotherhood Book 5 N.J. Walters     “I won’t hurt you.” Raine had awoken him from the Deep Sleep, something that should have been impossible. “You.” She gasped for air. “You’re real.” “I thought we established that.” The darkness soothed him, but her heartbeat was getting faster, not slower. Frowning, he leaned forward until he was a hairbreadth from her face. “Don’t eat me,” she yelled. Then she popped him in the jaw with her fist. It bounced harmlessly off his scales. She yelped again, shaking her fingers and cradling them to her chest. Even in her fear, she fought. “Where’s my stupid flashlight?” She patted her hand on the ground beside her. He caught the edge of the light with the tip of one claw and gently rolled it toward her. “Ah-ha.” She grabbed it and shook it. “There are new batteries in you. Work, damn it.” She smacked the device several times against her thigh and the light reappeared. She swiveled and shone it straight in his face. He reared back and blinked several times. “Don’t like that, do you?” She continued to point it at his face. “Stay back.” Did she really think the…
