Hi! I’m so excited to share Love by Design with you! This story has so many of my favorite things: a hunky carpenter, a heroine getting back on her feet, a heavy dose of sexual tension, and a second chance at love. Plus, magic pancakes. It’s steamy and sweet and I hope you fall for Grayson and Annika as hard as I did! My favorite neighbor in the 425 Madison building: It’s too hard to choose just one. I would have to say, Lyla Dupree from Sweet on You because I have a serious sweet tooth and she makes the best goodies. And, Bernadette Williams from Accidentally in Love, because who doesn’t want to hang out with a sassy, straight-talkin’ lady who serves whiskey in teacups? My favorite mode of transportation around NYC: My two feet. There’s so much to see and do in New York, walking around the city is the best way to absorb as much as you can. Plus, it helps work off all the fabulous food. 🙂 Otherwise, the subway, though sometimes nuts, is the most efficient way to get around and avoid the constant traffic! My favorite or must-see NYC landmark: I’m on a museum…

As my first release of 2020, Love Under Protection sets this year off with a bang for me. Fling Romance is a newer to me trope but I had a lot of fun bringing these characters to life and revisiting NYC again too. I’m excited to share will you, my TOP FIVE FAVORITE THINGS about the 425 Madison world. My favorite amenity in the 425 Madison building: First of all, can I just say that I am SO jealous of the tenants at 425 Madison? With all of the amenities that one can hope for, they seem to have it made. Hands down my favorite amenity would probably be the rooftop deck/lounge. What better of a place to escape and take on the city lights OR do a little hanging out with your favorite neighbors?  My favorite local hang out/nightspot in the 425 Madison world: When it comes to nightlife, O’Hara’s is my favorite place. O’Hara’s Pub is an actual spot located just 4 miles from the 9/11 Memorial and often frequented by – you guessed it – my beloved everyday heroes. For those that are new to me, I have a weakness for men in uniform, hence the inspiration…

I’m so excited to be back at Fresh Fiction celebrating another release! Flawless Foundations was such a fun book to write, it was a labor of love, that’s for sure. This is a tale of what happens when you fall in love with your bestie’s older brother. It features a sexy CEO and a feisty socialite. Is there a marriage of convenience or a marriage of love? You’ll have to read it to find out. In the meantime, find out my Top Five Favorite things about the 425 Madison series! My favorite amenity in the 425 Madison building: The maintenance team. In particular, the hot maintenance man who manages that team. Okay, let’s be honest here, the best amenity in the 425 Madison building is Jake Harper. 100%. Jake’s stroys unfolds in season one’s Boyfriend Maintenance but he’s is a constant fixture in season two of the series as well. My favorite local hang out/nightspot in the 425 Madison world: Blush, a cocktail lounge that Becca works at. It’s a high-end, posh and sexy. It’s been one of Becca’s favorite spots for several years. If you’re not from money or don’t love rubbing elbows with the rich and richer, you…

We asked the authors of the 425 Madison Ave series about their favorite parts of the 425 Madison world. Join the group during each release about the best parts of the series! My next release is a sweet but emotional best friends to lovers! Here’s a little to expect from Must Love Forever: An Irish hottie – CHECK New York – CHECK Lover of all things pink – CHECK Suspense – CHECK Crazy funny side characters – CHECK Bianca and Mick will grab your hearts with both the history they share and the love they build! My favorite 425 Madison neighbor is: I love Mallory Greer. She is seen in both Must Love Coffee as Gwen’s close friend and as a true confidant to Bianca Rodriquez. The 425 Madison favorite mode of transport: I love the subway. There are so many cool things about the subway, but the coolest is to be able to people watch. And Bianca loves to take it because it means she’s not walking around in her pink heels. My Must see NYC landmark: I personally love Central Park because there are so many fun things to do there. In Must Love Coffee, they go to…

What inspired you to write The Chelsea Girls? I met an actress in her nineties who started telling me what it was like in the New York City theater world during the McCarthy era, and I realized this was a story that very few knew. As I dug into the research of that period, I was struck by how many actors and directors had had their lives destroyed by a misguided witchhunt, many of them at the very cusp of their careers, which means we don’t know the plays or performances that were lost because of McCarthyism. I wanted to tell that story. The Chelsea Girls takes place during the 1940s to 1960s. What is the most fascinating thing you learned while researching this time period? The book takes place at the Chelsea Hotel, and I was surprised at how many famous people had stayed there over the years. The poet Dylan Thomas drank himself to death there, and artists like Jackson Pollock and John Sloan called it home. Then you have all the rockers: Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Sid Vicious. Playwright Arthur Miller sought refuge there after his divorce from Marilyn Monroe. The list goes on an on, and…
